Jenny has a genuine, compassionate, and playful approach. Her desire is for you to feel safe, seen, and heard. She is known for helping others understand themselves better and become more in tune with their emotions, thoughts, and physical responses.

Jenny believes play is a powerful tool for children to tell their story, process their hurts and struggles, and connect with their caregivers. She has a particular interest in helping those with attachment issues and childhood trauma. She also enjoys partnering with parents to help them learn how to best support their kids and manage their own self-care.

  • Experiential Play Therapy

  • Theraplay Level 1, an attachment based intervention for caregivers and their children 

  • EMDR Therapy (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing)

Education:

  • Masters of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy from Bethel Seminary, St. Paul, MN

  • Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from University of Northwestern, St. Paul, MN 

  • Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education from Winona State University
